Privacy Policy

• Account info: full name, email, phone number, role (PG Owner, Tenant, Staff).
• KYC documents: PAN, Aadhaar, photographs uploaded by PG Owners for verification.
• Property data: PG name, address, rooms, beds, pricing, tenant assignments.
• Financial data: rent paid, dues, receipts, expense entries. We do not store full card numbers.
• Communication: messages, complaints and notices sent through the platform.
• Device & usage: device model, OS, app version, IP, crash reports and basic analytics.

• Provide and improve PG Connect features.
• Authenticate users (including SMS OTP).
• Process rent collection, receipts and reminders.
• Send transactional notifications and important service updates.
• Detect fraud, abuse and ensure platform safety.

We share limited data with trusted providers strictly to run the service:

• Message Central — SMS OTP delivery.
• Cloud hosting — to store your data securely with daily encrypted backups.
• Payment processors — only if you opt into in-app payments; we never store full card details.

• Access: request a copy of your data by emailing support.
• Correction: update inaccurate info from your account profile.
• Deletion: request deletion at pgconnect.co.in/account-deletion. We process within 30 days.
• Withdraw consent: stop using the service and request data deletion.

We retain account data while your account is active. Financial records may be retained for up to 7 years for legal/tax compliance, after which they are deleted or anonymised.

PG Connect is intended for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified via the app and email.
